Last 12 and 13 of June, more than 100 researchers met together in Grenoble, France, for the ATTRACT prefinal meeting. HYLIGHT researchers were there and explained the latest advances of the project.
The European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF) in Grenoble recently hosted the ATTRACT phase 2 prefinal meeting. The two-day conference included workshops, presentations, and discussions, providing insights into ATTRACT’s impact and highlighting the most relevant goals achieved by the projects. More than 100 researchers from the 36 projects funded talked about the R&D&I projects, students’ programs and Socioeconomic studies.
The prefinal meeting event provided an excellent opportunity to bring together all the funded projects, offering a platform for them to showcase their progress and potential societal impact. Additionally, the conference aimed to create a collaborative atmosphere where researchers, students, and industry professionals could exchange ideas and forge connections for future innovations.
ATTRACT phase 2 underlines on the most promising and proven breakthrough technology concepts from phase1 projects, and demonstrates strong potential for scientific, industrial, and societal applications. Furthermore, this phase expands opportunities for young entrepreneurs and introduces an original Socioeconomic Study of an innovation ecosystem, conducted by experts and encompassing diverse perspectives and practices.
Researchers from the “Bioengineering for Reproductive Health Group” from IBEC, the coordinator institution of HYLIGHT project, were also there and took the opportunity to share with the ATTRACT community the latest achievements of the project. Samuel Ojosnegros, supported by Anna Seriola and Anna Ferrer, presented the project to a very interested audience.
